Domestic Investors Bought Shares Worth ₹2,679 Crore on 3 September

On 3 September, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,721.82 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made net purchases of Rs 2,679.86 crore.

In the month of August, foreign investors sold shares worth ₹46,902.92 crore. Meanwhile, domestic investors made net purchases worth ₹94,828.55 crore during this period.

The stock market rose on Wednesday, September 3. The Sensex rose 410 points and closed at 80,568. The Nifty also rose 135 points and closed at 24,715.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 rose and 8 fell. Tata Steel closed up 5.87%. Ten stocks, including Titan, Mahindra, and Zomato, rose by more than 1%.
