The watch’s dial features a miniature of Anant Ambani, accompanied by miniature lions and Bengal tigers. The watch features a green camo motif and 397 precious stones totalling 21.98 carats.

What is Special About the Watch?
The watch’s most striking feature is its dial, which resembles a stage set for a theatre. It features intricate hand-drawn motifs and depicts Anant Ambani seated in a blue floral shirt.
Next to them are lifelike miniature sculptures of a lion and a Bengal tiger, depicting the Vantara ecosystem. According to media reports, these include an elephant carved from gold and the name ‘Vantara’.

The watch is adorned with green and white diamonds. A green camellia motif is used to give the watch a ‘jungle’ look. A total of 397 gemstones, weighing a total of 21.98 carats, were used to adorn the watch. It uses demantoid garnets, tsavorites and green sapphires for the green sheen, along with white diamonds.

This clock is part of Jacob & Co.’s famous “Opera” collection. It features a music box mechanism that plays a tune at the press of a button. When music is played, the entire dial (including the pilot, lion, and tiger figures) rotates. This technique is considered very complex in the world of watchmaking.
What is Vantara?
The project that inspired this watch is a massive 3,500-acre wildlife rehabilitation centre within Reliance’s refinery complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated it in March 2025.
It is home to over 1.5 lakh animals. It also features a dedicated elephant hospital and a 100,000-square-foot wildlife hospital equipped with modern facilities, including MRI and CT scans.
