Chinese tech company Vivo is preparing to launch a new V series of smartphones in the Indian market. Vivo V50 5G smartphone will be introduced in it. The smartphone will get AI (Artificial Intelligence) features like Live Call Translation, Transcript Assist, Circle to Search and Google Gemini. It is being said that this device is a rebranded version of Vivo S20, which was launched in China in November 2024.
Vivo V50 5G Smartphone 2025 Launch Date in India
Vivo has posted a post from its official handle on social media platform X, according to which Vivo V50 will be launched in India on February 17 at 12 noon. It has also been confirmed that the smartphone will be sold through Vivo India e-store as well as e-commerce websites Flipkart and Amazon.

Vivo V50 5G smartphone : Camera Vivo has told that for photography, three camera sensors will be provided in V50 5G phone and all three will be of 50 megapixels. Carl Zeiss lenses will be used in these. A 2.54/7.01cm 50MP Selfie Camera will be available on the front panel of the phone, which will support 92° wide angle and will be equipped with Auto Focus technology.
The dual rear camera setup of the phone will have a 50MP OIS main sensor which will work in conjunction with a 50MP ultra wide angle lens equipped with the capability of 119° field of view. The rear camera sensor of the phone will be capable of 4K video recording along with auto focus technology. AI Studio Light Portrait 2.0 Aura Light will also be present on the back panel of Vivo V50.
Vivo V50 5G smartphone : Display The company has confirmed that the Vivo V50 5G phone will have an ultra slim Quad Curved screen. If leaks are to be believed, this mobile will enter the market with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with 2800 × 1260 pixel resolution. This screen will be made on AMOLED panel on which 120Hz refresh rate and 4500nits peak brightness support will be available.

The design of Vivo V50, the thinnest phone with 6000mAh battery in India, is similar to the existing model Vivo V40. It has a pill-sized raised camera module. Two camera sensors are provided on the top of this module. The company claims that this phone is the thinnest phone in India with 6000mAh battery.

Vivo V50 5G phone will be launched on Android 15 based Fun touch OS 15. The company says that this mobile will provide 60 months of smooth experience.
