Zomato launched the AI Tool: Zomato on Monday (February 17) launched an artificial intelligence (AI)- backed customer support platform ‘Nugget’ Food and grocery delivery platform Zomato has launched an AI-equipped customer support platform Nugget. Company CEO Goyal Said On Zomato launched AI Tool

Deepinder Goyal said about Nugget, “Nugt is an AI-equipped customer support platform. It’s customizable, low-cost, and works without the need for a developer team. Goyal also said, “If you are under contract with an old provider, we will provide Nugget for free for the remainder of your tenure.

Zomato developed Nugget as an internal tool over three years ago, which is now handling over 15 million support interactions every month for brands like Zomato, Blinkit, and Hyperpure. This AI tool is capable of solving up to 80 percent of customer queries autonomously by learning and adapting in real-time.

The Company Name has Changed

Let us tell you that recently Zomato has changed its name to Eternal. According to the information given to the stock market, for, approval of the company’s shareholders, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and other statutory authorities have to be taken.

However, the brand name of the company’s food delivery business and the name of the app will remain ‘Zomato’.According to the company, Eternal will currently include four core businesses – Zomato, Blinkit, District, and Hyperpure.

Zomato’s Q3FY25 Results

For the October-December quarter, the company’s consolidated net profit slumped 57 percent on-year to Rs 59 crore as against Rs 138 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal year. In the previous September quarter, the company’s net profit was recorded at Rs 176 crore.

The steep decline in profit is on the back of increased expenses incurred on the expansion of the company’s Quick Commerce (QC) platform- Blinkit.

Revenue, however, increased 64.9 percent on-year to Rs 5,405 crore in the December quarter, suggesting strong demand. In the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, the company’s revenue from operation was reported at Rs 3,288 crore.
