Earlier in 2023, the number of rich people in the country was 80,686. The report said that by 2028 their number will be 93,753 with an increase of 9.4%. According to the report, the number of billionaires in India in 2024 has increased by 12% as compared to last year. There are 191 billionaires in India in 2024. In 2023 this number was 165. The total wealth of Indian billionaires is around Rs 82.6 lakh crore.
